The original box is what all the fuss was about. This is why I never throw ANYTHING away. Who knows what of my crap the kids will be able to sell for a shit-ton of cash in the future?

I've got a lot of old stuff taking up residence at me Mom's abode.  Saves me from getting drunk and trying to hook it up with a patch cord to an HDTV, then scavenging the toaster for parts I would inevitably misplace in the toilet during my brain storming sessions.

I should probably take inventory...my Dad has had his eyes on that stash for a while for use as kindling.

I think I'm just saving the wrong shit.  I can't imagine it selling for that much.  The box can only be worth so much.  Even if they guaranteed you wouldn't have to blow into your games ever again.  You would think there were no other existing systems for it to go for that much.  There are plenty of people that still have them.  I always wanted to make the system into something else (You know, like those old iMac G3's that people turn into fish bowls).

Sure, but remember... This NES sold because of the obscure event game. It's almost impossible to separate the Billy Ripkins from the Goose Goslins, you know?
