My 2.5 year old grandson is all fired up about Batman.

Whenever someone finds this out, they start singing the 1960s TV show theme song to him (at least the "Duh-nuh nuh-nuh nuh-nuh nuh-nuh nuh-nuh nuh-nuh nuh-nuh nuh-nuh BATMAN!" part).

He has no idea where that song comes from, and he looks at those people like they should probably wear a helmet in their everyday lives.

"mat-a-MANG!"

My little man actually says "nanananabatman" instead of "batman". My fault for singing the dippy song too much.

I can loan you some Batman: The Animated Series DVDs so you can get a different theme song in his head, if you like. Your folly must be corrected, sir. Smiley

Interesting point about this:It was the only show(of it's kind;episodic prime time) in television history to do two episodes a week, which gives it's short run a whopping amount of episodes.

Oh, he has seen the full gamut of Batman cartoons. We have the Mr. Freeze mini-movie and he is all about the pet polar bears. It's just Nanananabatman to him. I am hoping we'll grow out of it.

There's a new one coming on 9/29, one I'm REALLY excited about: Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. I've talked about it on the show a few times. Check it out:
