To say that Sarah Palin's political future has a good chance of being over is reasonable based on polls and the lack of attention to her requests for coming to fellow republicans aid. She played the part the best she could of being McCain's running mate on the aspect of conservatism. In fact she is much more of an independent thinker politically and actually has some solid and noteworthy accomplishments, inmho.

I believe what eclipses all of that is her charisma, beauty and love of the camera.



Before it's all over...I see her doing Playboy or a very revealing shoot in some other mag. And I hope it happens sooner, than later.

I'm happily assuming that you put this in The Experience section, because myself and Sarah Palin have similar accents eh? She's my little Alaskan firecracker don't cha know!

Palin has done nothing (imho) but prove to me that women who are beautiful and quirky, can be the Vice President of the United States of America.  I don't care if she is an elephant or an ass, a hippie or a pentecostal nutjob, she is the LAST woman I want representing and/or making decisions for me in any sort of capacity.  I'm not saying she's stupid or a bad person, but let's try to keep the crazy out of the white house shall we?

I have a feeling she has been approached for something like The View or one of the news stations to host her own show.  American Entertainment can't let someone like her just sneak out of the public eye.  I don't think she's going to be running around for the next 3 years trying to rally the republican voters for a 2012 run.  I don't think she cares enough, I think she wants to make easy money, do a talk show, pose in some running magazines and call it a day.  More power to her.

Close enough  . By noteworthy, I meant nothing. If it doesn't work out you chalkasian this up to being high and horny when I wrote it. What she has going for her is that she is goofy and that never gets old.

Rather than starting a new topic I just want to say this about the Harvard professor and the cop.

You only are what you are, when no one is looking. Granted:The situation was (I hate this expression)a perfect storm.

As far as the policeman knew, it was an emergency and I'm sure his adrenaline was at defcon 4.

The professor was not only in his own home but I'm sure exhausted after flying in from China.

It would seem to me that as soon as the policeman saw an almost 60 year old man WITH A CAIN, where luggage was probably still visible, that he would have realized that the whole thing was a misunderstanding. After all, it wasn't just a cop but one who as we know, taught others how to avoid unfair racial profiling.

Remember the count to ten "rule"...If they would have both taken one second to think about the situation instead of reacting, it would have been avoided.

This line from The Byrd's, "My Back Pages" seems to hit the nail on the head.
