Details to be flushed out but as per the discussion tonight, we'll be doing some fine ice skating on June 13th!
This will be family friendly, of course so bring the calves, too!

It's official! We're going skating!! This place now has summer hours, 1-4 PM and it's 7.00 to get in and 3.00 for skate rental. They also have a snack bar with food/soda/gatorade etc. I know we'll be there! Good way to get out of the heat (and rain). Come on out, bring the family! They also have a myspace page http://www.myspace.com/ice_factory where they say they send out coupons etc so maybe they'll send out something before Saturday  |

not sure what time the premiere is, but I think it's a private showing for the cast lol, so we can giggle. I will let everyone know when I have a copy of it though. As for skating, maybe I can work it in somehow :-D

Very few people actually come from here. about 1/3 of the people that came out had skated before...maybe they weren't all native Floridians (like I am) but it was a bunch of newbies! Hell, I think I've skated 5 times in my whole life (all indoors) if not less so I'd consider myself a newbie! |

That was fun! And your boys picked up on it so fast.
I was so happy my 2nd time around (after a long rest period) that I was away from the wall and actually skating and then my ankles, and feet, and shins said NO
Rowan got to sit on the ice and touch it which was cute, at least from behind her as I tried not to fall on her!
Great time (but I'm much better at good old fashioned roller skating!)
