We all had a fantastic time!  Thanks for doing this and thanks to ELROSS for just being awesome!  Geoff, Mickey and J were splendid chaps as well.  Kudos all around.

I cannot stop looking at it. It was so yellow. So jambly.

Seriously, Ross put Jerry Lewis to shame.

And Jen put Jerry Lewis' "people" to shame.

And Nicole worked her ass off for us all day, and wore two bras. I respect that in a woman.

What A FANTASTIC event.  The musicians that Rock for Hunger brought in were great.  The venue was perfect.  And the people running it were wonderful.

Happy to have been witness to this event, and hope to return next year.

Hope everybody had as much fun as I did.

Thanks for letting us be a part of it.

Pics will follow. (Wes has all the cameras,  I left them in his truck.)

I'm sure I'm not the only listener who completely agreed with Geoff about making a cover your own. That would be this coming FR's podcast for people who didn't catch it. Well important and well done.

That, and you, are awesome. Video editing be damned, you did great!

Thank you, and everyone, for making our first charity event a success. I appreciate it very much.

I was thinking last week that Aug 22nd, which is probably the hotest time of year, is probably the worst time to have fat people out in the sun doing physical activity. I think, the hot, fat, sweatiness, only added to the allure of the event. That is what it was all about, being fat and sweaty. I don't think it would be nearly the same if it wasn't so hot and fat and sweaty.

The event was great. The entertainment, from Wes rocking some PBR Radiohead to the guys with buckets and a guy playing one string on a guitar, was great. The drinks were strong, like way strong. And the raffle, MCed by non other then The Ross, was something else.

I had a great time and more importantly on the way home the boy said to me "Ya know, charity events can be really fun". If nothing else, that made the day worth it. He really can't wait to go back next year. I hope now I can set up a .05K stretch around the yard and get him practicing for next year. It's tough to get him motivated to exercise. This might just be the motivation he needs. He might want me to actually run it with him though.

Orlando Event TV, which is a new show about events in Orlando attended the "Cure for the Run" event and shot a brief interview with Geoff and Jen.

We've just posted the video up on the site, you can take a look at it here:

Awesome video! I didn't even plan to be on, in fact felt bad interrupting but I had just totalled it up and had to run over to Geoff. Leave it to Rowan to steal the show by eating her "I Am Special" sticker LOL

My mom watched this and had to call me because she thought it was so well done and she almost peed herself laughing.

Thank you for making a great homage to the seriousness of the event while capturing the fun we all had!
