OK guys this is so on! I spoke with Rock For Hunger today and they are as excited as I am! We are nailing down the venue which will help determine the time but it is definitely August 22nd. We are looking at making it a whole event! If you are not local and wish to help, you can donate to our paypal at somacow@gmail.comThank you to those who already have! For those participating I will update here as the details come in. If you can't make it out that day but want to help let us know! We can use some "street people" when the time comes. Just being there will be awesome. You can come and just donate, you can get donations from friends/strangers, you can donate your time. I'm just way too pumped about this! |

We are so close to being able to tell you that it should be at Wall Street some place downtown with great bars and restaurants and space but I can't do it officially yet!
I could use some help coming up soon. We need people to brainstorm, do leg work (hanging up posters/handing out fliers), get supplies needed (donated) etc.
We are also working on a sponsorship form so people can get sponsors for the run. Check out the Heard of SomaCow group on Facebook or join in our live chat on Friday nights as some non-local listeners are sponsoring those of us here!

When the Art Department is finished with the flier, have them upload it here. I will happily print some out and post them throughout the College Park area. |
