so the other day, and i catually called Gary while he was here, i walk out of our break trailer in the backlot of universal to see the Biggest arms in the world standing there being escorted into the ride, VIP style.
Thats right, Hulk frikkin Hogan. If not for our policy about not bugging celebs we would probably either have an interview, or a producer who had been snapped in half, depending on his mood......
He isnt the first wrestler i have seen either. Mick Foley and the Rock have both been there as i was, and i even got a conversation out of the Rock. It consisted of the weather, and if he was having fun at the park. Cheesey, i know, but he really didnt have to respond at all.
Other celebs besides wrestlers i have seen....
Shaq Mark Hamill Christopher Walken Robert Downey Jr Johnny Depp
(those last two totally makes nova jealous)
Walken and the rock were there for the opening of disaster. It was really cool.
anyway, thread title says it all. anyone famous ever go to your workplace?

I missed both Larry King and William H. Macy at the movie theatre I worked at in Gainesville. Both times I was supposed to be working but traded out the shift. Oh well.
Other than that...um, I worked for the government so no.

Some NBA dude (people seemed to know him, I did not) came into the Tree once and sat at the bar. He had me order his food and read it back. When it came time to pay, I gave him the bill and he asked me how much that was and how much did he give me. I told the truth, that it was 17 bucks and he gave me 25. He said "oh", and gave me ten more.
Back in the day I met Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Pink and those annoying now dead boy groups from the late 90s. I scared most of them except Aguilera, who kinda scared me.

Hmm, what was so threatening about Aguilera?

Uh... when I was doing customer service for the Palm VII (very first wireless organizer with access to special Palm versions of web pages), Sean Combs called in. I don't think that really counts.
Nothing these days either, as famous people don't generally need my firm. They get way more expensive lawyers.

I can understand the motivation too. Especially after the BS she is putting him though. I don't know. I don't see that as a bad statement. Am I the only one that has wanted to kill a bitch before? I mean, of course, I would never do it. I'm just saying I can understand, being in that situation, and having those desires. I think that is all he was saying. Though, I can see how that really doesn't look good.

I cannot let go of the fact that this is all a work. Linda, Nick, Brooke, and Terry all are benefiting from this. They are all in the limelight. TMZ talks about them six times a minute. How else could a wrestler that does not wrestle, a fangirl who married her idol, a racer that cannot race, and a singer that can not sing continue to stay front page? Call it hedging bets against the lawsuit against Hogan for providing beer. Call it the desire to stay topical. Call it a dissolution of marriage via convenience, but... I think this is all a work.

I installed, or helped my father install, alarms for Don Sutton (Hall of Fame Pitcher) Skip Caray (The late, legendary Braves Broadcaster) and Jeff Treadway (former Major League Second Baseman, and my idol as a young baseball player).

I worked at Disney in Media Relations for a couple of years- and my job was specifically to assist media in the parks covering celebrities.... My job consisted of escorting the media around, sitting in on the interviews, pictures, etc. It was mostly cool, depending on who the celebrity was.... Some of my highlights: Michael J. Fox John Stamos & Rebecca Romijn Stamos (back when they were an item) Tony Bennett Matt Lauer N'Sync Britney Spears John Lasseter 98 degrees (The Lachey brothers!) Samuel L. Jackson Carrie Fisher Levar Burton Paula Abdul
Some of the lowlights: (mostly because they were NOT nice!) Alfe Woodard Cuba Gooding Jr Michael Flately (he made me go shopping for his 15 year old nephew) Ben Vereen Susan Sarandon

Gooding was in a movie that I was an extra in and I didn't even make an effort to look at him, when everyone was going nuts cause he was there. I've never really been excited to meet celebrities like a lot of people. I bet that Flately incident had you gnashing your teeth. I get out raged just thinking about it.
