Yes, it is. Working with him can mean a completely different thing than working him. I'm sure they worded it that way on purpose. And he's been "working with them" for 28 years... stopping that will be more confusing for him than not, and will make him more aggressive. |

Bullshit. Working with him in the sense of rehabiliating him and making him a productive member of society is NOT what they mean, no way it could be. They mean Work in the sense that they have always used it in conjunction with this whale, trot out to the tourists, elict ooohs and ahhs, sell t-shirts, filter water, repeat. And, for the record, you think letting the whale stop jumping through hoops for sardines would make it MORE agressive? Like, what? Escape? Tri-State Killing Spree? Quick climb to power in Germany and a grab for land in central Europe? |

I haven't been following the news on this or anything, bus so far I don't think they have any available video. I find it strange that nobody in the crowd was filming, or at least taking a cell pic when things went south.

I imagine there are quite intense discussions taking place between Park Management and financially astute guests with footage to sell. |

As everyone knows by now, this was not the first time that the whale had gotten the taste of human blood. I thought that there was a common rule of thumb concerning animals and mammals that are not human. Once they become vicious(depending on the vantage point), they are removed from having the opportunity to eat human meats again.

I caught a few minutes of Larry 'I'm already embalmed" King Monday and they were going back and forth about whether the food which I guess is the primary tool in "training", is deprivation or positive reinforcement.
Turns out another SW employee was killed in the last few months as well but the company always pays out millions in hush money.
It seems like there is nothing that doesn't have a seedy, duplicitous underbelly of spilled blood, greed and a wizard behind the curtain somewhere dazzling the huddled masses with smoke and mirrors.
I have too many other things to worry about besides a person losing their life by allowing themselves to play with a KILLER whale, as if it's a domesticated pet.
