Text and pics from Huffington Post I see the future of our country as so hopeless that I kind of hope that she does get elected. At least there'll never be a dull moment.-FooFa Closer inspection of a photo of Sarah Palin, during a speech in which she mocked President Obama for his use of a teleprompter, reveals several notes written on her left hand. The words "Energy", "Tax" and "Lift American Spirits" are clearly visible. There's also what appears to read as "Budget cuts" with the word Budget crossed out./i]
Just to be clear: The notes most likely weren't for her speech, for which she used prepared remarks, but for the Q&A session that followed, during which she glanced at the hand in question.

The funniest part? If the GOP primary was held today, Palin would probably win. Also, one of every two Republicans think that Palin is more qualified to be president than Barack Obama. Don't believe it? Check this out: http://www.dailykos.com/statepoll/2010/1/31/US/437

Great Tina Fey clip on Letterman that pops up if you view the "hits" vid. I love the part when she is talking about Palin's accent..."she must think there's oil in them 'R's'".
The irony of this is that had it not been for a 70 something year old man's libido, she would have remained mostly unknown.

So today the White House spokesman Rob Gibbs took the time to mock Sarah Palin. His list reads "Milk, Eggs, Hope, Change". They should give that woman a show on Fox and call it a day.

Can anyone explain to me, why this woman is deemed worthy of all this attention? Is she really presidential material? Is it because she is pretty and she can see Russia from her house? Explain the Palin effect.

Let me start this by saying I am not a very political person. Also, I am not a party person. I was raised by parents that swing very far the right. There was a time in my life when I thought, because Mom and Dad are always right, that the republican way was the way to go. Once I graduated high school and began to grow up I realized that was not the way for me and started to swing much more towards the left. I have married a woman that is a crazed tree hugging lefty. My wife, two sisters and my brother-in-law are all very left winged. Let me say that this can make for some interesting discussion at my parents house. Though, thankfully, has only ended in tears once. At one point before the 2008 election, when I told my sister that I wasn't so sure I agreed with Clintons ideas on health care, my older sister looked at me and said "What are you some type of Republican?". Anyway, what I am saying is I tend float between the two parties.
I have always been a fan of McCain. I wholeheartedly feel that had he won the primaries in 2000 and been the Republican nominee this country would be in a much better situation then it is now. So when it came down to him and Obama I was really having trouble deciding which way I was going to vote. Then, they announced that Palin was going to be his running mate. I immediately starting researching her online and liked some of the things she had done though wasn't sure about this person I had never heard of. I suggested (forced) to my wife that we listen to her first speech. I have to say that I was impressed, again, with a lot of the things that she had to say. She seemed to be on point. She had me fooled into thinking she knew what was best for this country. For me, that only lasted for a couple days until she said something stupid. I then realized that she was completely full of shit. Some people are a little slow on the uptake.
I hope that helps.

This is one of the best things I have heard in weeks.

I don't know if she has a proper show of her own but she's already on their pay roll as a commentator.
The extreme hysterics and out and out hateful rhetoric from the extreme left and right are what cause me to attempt to pay as little attention as possible to all of it.
However, I think the Tea Party people are actually on to something. It's looking like the health care bill will die but apparently there are very ant democratic ideas in it, if true. Fines and even jail for those who don't comply...
