Are you doing anything to build muscle mass? Because I am technically 4 pounds up from my last weigh in, but I have been hitting the weights and I KNOW I am slightly less fat than I was this time last week, but I "weigh" more.

My goal is for every calorie I expend to go toward fat reduction. No toning, no building. That requires a different diet and exercise regime. It's just my body rebelling against the changes.

Might be your problem. I am not a trainer by any stretch of the imagination, but more muscle = more calories burnt. Get some 5 pound dumbells and work your way up.

I'm no expert either but a greater weight or less loss due to muscle building is good. I believe J has the right idea for himself at this time. I'm not interested in the kind of thing that you are participating in but by doing exercise for free, I've noticed weight loss has basically stopped but what's carrying it, looks better.

You don't plant the flower beds before mowing down all the weeds, even though flower beds result in a better lawn.
I have no more than 30 minutes per day to devote to exercise, so every minute has to go toward burning what I have, rather than building tools that would certainly burn more. Plus, you have to eat and train differently for that.
Trim down, then tone up, is the advice of the professionals, unless they are on a reality show.
I'll switch to the toning and building regimen after I hit my goal weight, and don't have that 85 pounds impeding my progress in that regard.
Your plan looks like it's working great for you, though. Continue that awesome ass-kickery.
