Or maybe just a battery for my current laptop so I don't have to power it off every time I need to move to a different power outlet.

That's the best answer in the history of questions.

Skip that rolly-hair straightner thing, Bee.  I wanted one too and then read the reviews.
It apparantly burns hair and other awful things...

my friend let me borrow hers - I will let you know how it goes for me.

Let me know. I've seen Kimberly Locke in the infomercials but she IS getting paid for it Cheesy
If you have a good experience with it I may try it. I bought one of those blowdryers with the ionic comb-y thing that is supposed to straighten while it dries and it damaged my hair really badly.

Ok here is my pic after I used the Instyler.  It didn't burn my hair at all and I had it on the hottest setting. At first I tried it damp.  It dried it and straightened it at the same time.  Then I used a small amount of this hair creme I have used for years because it keeps your hair from burning - protects the ends too.  That definitely made it come out straighter.  I think I am going to order one.  It went kind of fast too when I did it.

I have the Maxiglide also and it works well.  You may have to use something to protect your hair when you use heat appliances for your hair.

Looks great, Bee!
Thanks for the "report," I was wondering how it went for you.

I have not used a Relaxer in my hair for almost 6 yrs.  It was tearing my hair up.  I have naturally curly/wavey hair so I usually blow it and use the Maxiglide.  But the Instyler did it all.  I use just grease in my scalp and Razac on the hair itself.

iPod Classic with video this time

I would rather be working regularly but SC is in the top 5 unemployment percentage states. 12%
Which is to say that after months of being off of unemployment, they keep extending it and it starts back, usually with a nice fat check for some lost time.
So being the ever frugal miser, I immediately got a new toy. The remaining will be used more sensibly.

It looks gnarly! If you get any "in use" video, post it here. You can swing by and grab my camera if you want.
